Projects Coordinator
Summary:
The person in this position is in charge of planning, directing and coordinating activities of one or more project and the project’s resources. He/She is responsible for applying the Quality Management System for each project.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Confers with client for project requirements, design and initial data. communication
o Intimately understand the requirements of the project and ensure that work proceeds on-spec.
o Prepare project plan and efficient program of work to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Planning & achievement orientation, organizing, analytical thinking
o Responsible for accurate site measurements, and collection of data required for shop-drawings and Job Orders. (wood, paint and other requirements)
o Prepare time schedule for shop drawings, execution and delivery.
o Run the project on a day-to-day basis, including supervising project’s team, monitoring the site labor force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors. Team Leadership
o Confers regularly with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority, provide technical advice and resolve problems. Communication , problem solving, developing others
o Coordinate with Production department to meet project requirements.
o Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Reporting skills
o Visit sites regularly- Act as a representative of the company on sites.
o Act as a contact person with external consultants: correspondence, follow up on approvals, etc.
o Animate projects’ meetings internally and/ or with clients.
o Responsible for delivering projects within the time schedules, budget and as per the Project’s quality requirements.
o Maintaining and classifying customer job files and provide proper identification of customer and job numbers. Confidentiality & Business Ethics
Additional Responsibilities:
Additional responsibilities may include participating in marketing events, coordinating delivery schedule of material and providing on job training for new Design & Projects employees.
Technical knowledge and skills required:
Knowledge in wood specifications and joinery details.
Proficient with MS office Applications, AutoCAD 2D-3 D, MS project or Primavera or other projects management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication in Arabic and English

Confidentiality and business ethics
Required to travel occasionally as per project’s requirements.
Education & Background qualifications:
University Degree in interior design or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant position
